The Outfitters (St Johns)

The kayak club usually meets at Tipping Pond at the top of Massey Drive on Tuesday nights during the summer. The goals of the club are to enhance the skills of the members, to promote safe and responsible paddling and to provide a means for local kayakers to network and get together for kayaking trips of any length and skill level. Ray Dunphy has been on more paddles than anyone Little River a weed choked stream meandering through a bog near Stephenville Crossing. A good spot when its too windy to go anywhere else!
